Why invest in Mozambique?

With approximately 2 500 kilometres of coastline, Mozambique is a natural tourism destination.

There is in place an attractive code of incentives for Foreign Direct Investment and the number of investors, both national and foreign, who have already established partnerships with the government is a reflection of the good business environment in the country.

Mozambique has also posted the greatest diversified and sustained economic growth in Africa between 1996 and 2005, with an average annual growth of 8.3 percent, according to the World Bank's Development Indicators for Africa 2007 report.

Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is satisfied with the “strong and robust growth” of the country's economy.
